Challenge
Household finances mix actual spending, known upcoming payments and budget targets, and they are easy to double count: a card bill payment or a loan repayment is not a new expense. Families also need a shared space where each member sees only what they should.
What we built
An app for iPhone and Android that keeps actual spending, committed payments and budget targets in separate layers, and records every entry so that transfers and card payments are never counted as expenses. Each family member sees only what they are allowed to. The app does not move money and does not connect to bank accounts.
Outcome
AileFin is in development under a working title.
